I know all of you know Antonio Perez, the wonderful man who runs Fencing Time at our Division tournaments.  He takes very, very good care of each and every fencer who attends our Division tournaments and makes sure the tournaments run smoothly.

Mega thanks and kudos to Antonio for all he does.

It was seen and noticed at this tournament, could it be, an apprentice in the making?  Peter Zappia, (younger brother to DFA foil fencer Paul Zappia), was seen sitting next to Antonio, observing and then actually at the tournament control laptop!!!  All went well, under the watchful eye of Antonio.  You can see from the photos how serious they both were at this critical time!

Ethan Gershenfeld (ASU) presents his D.E. slip to Peter and Antonio. At left, Peter's dad and grandmother.

"Thumbs up", all is well at the control laptop with Peter and Antonio.

Solo, Peter on his own at the tournament laptop.
