DFA News:

We have DFA fencers graduating from high school later this month and in June:
Santiago Amparo, Shadow Hills High School (Saber)
Reese Frenter, Palm Springs High School (Epee)
William McCloud, Rancho Mirage High School (Epee)
Grace Sullenger, Palm Springs High School (Saber)

I’ve watched these fencers grow up.  They started fencing at DFA when they were in middle school, all through high school and now they are off to college.  I wish them every success and happiness, and, it’s been a pleasure being their fencing coach.

At the April 20 tournament held at Hemet High School, Dennis tied for third place in Saber!

Saber (l-r): 3rd, Dennis Stephen (Desert Fencing Academy), 3rd Geo Navarro (Hemet High School), 2nd, Gabriel Lira (Arrowhead), 1st Michael Rierdan (San Diego Fencing Center) and earning his E2019 saber rating!
