Hi to All…Happy October and Happy Halloween!

UPCOMING TOURNAMENTS:

October 15, 2011, 3-weapon tournament at Hemet High School.  Close of check-in 9:00 a.m. sabre, 10:00 a.m. foil, and 12 noon epee.  Please pre-register on AskFred.net.

November 6, 2011, J.O. Quals at College of the Desert.  Close of check-in times will be posted on  AskFred.net.

DFA NEWS:

We will again be in the Palm Desert Golf Cart Parade!  Last year we took first place!

The date is Sunday, October 23.  The theme is “Carnival” as in a circus.

Diane Whan, Mark Johnson and I are the creators and builders of the golf cart “float” which will be decorated as a big clown hat with big clown shoes.  If anyone is interested in helping, please let me know.

If your fencer is interested in being in the Golf Cart Parade, please let me know and I’ll have you sign the waiver.

We had a lot of fun last year and did take first place so, who knows about this year, but certainly we’ll have a lot of fun.
